Vampire Survivors: Tirajisú Explained

Tirajisú (Tirajisu) is Vampire Survivors’ Revivals passive — extra lives. It turns a lethal mistake into a second chance, which matters more the longer and greedier your runs get.

What Tirajisú does

Tirajisú increases Revivals (extra lives). When you would die, a revival can bring you back instead — exact timing/animation depends on your version, but the job is the same: buy another attempt.

When Revivals are high priority

  • Learning a new stage or hyper mode
  • Glass-cannon builds that delete screens but die to one corner
  • Long runs where one death would waste 20+ minutes

When to skip it

  • You’re dying to chip damage every 10 seconds — Armor, Pummarola, and Hollow Heart fix the leak better
  • An evolution passive is on screen and finishes your build now
  • You already have revival from character power / relics and need damage instead

Tirajisú vs mitigation

ApproachJob
TirajisúSurvive the fatal hit once (per revival)
Armor / Heart / RecoveryTake fewer fatal hits
WingsAvoid hits

Revivals are insurance. Mitigation reduces how often you file a claim. Strong players eventually stack both.

Build tip

Grab Tirajisú once your first evolution path is online and the stage still has scary spikes ahead. For item context, see the best items tier list.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many revivals do I need?

One is huge for learning. More is greed that wins endless/hyper attempts.

Does it help every character?

More on fragile starters. Tank characters may prefer Heart/Armor earlier, then Tirajisú for insurance.

Is the name spelled Tirajisú or Tirajisu?

Both show up in community writing; in-game spelling may use the accent. Same item either way.
